Trump promises to work with North Atlantic Treaty Organisation in defeating Islamic State
“I call it extreme, extreme vetting”, he continued.

“Extreme Vetting” I call it.
Trump’s proposed vetting process, which he unveiled at a campaign event at Ohio’s Youngstown State University, would also mean the country would temporarily ban immigrants from “some of the most unsafe and volatile regions of the world” and those with “a history of exporting terrorism”. But the GOP nominee did say officials would seek to weed out those who believe that Sharia law “should supplant American law”, those who do not believe in the U.S. Constitution and those “who support bigotry and hatred”.
“We will have to temporarily suspend immigration from some of the most risky and volatile regions of the world”, Trump said about putting his new immigration policy in place.
Trump did not name any countries that would be included in the regional ban, but said that should he be elected, his administration will ask the Department of State to “identify a list of regions where adequate screening can not take place”.
He’ll likely reiterate the USA should stop issuing visas to places where – in the view of his campaign – the State Department and Homeland Security have demonstrated they can not effectively screen.
The test amounts to an expansion of Trump’s controversial plan to ban Muslims from traveling to the United States ― blocking people from certain countries and anyone whose views are deemed un-American.
Fifty-nine percent of registered voters support the proposal, 52 percent of immigrant voters do and 68 percent of registered first-generation voters support Trump’s plan.
This will be one of Trump’s speeches that is delivered from a teleprompter, as opposed to the improvisational nature of his rallies. “Military, cyber, and financial warfare will all be necessary to dismantle Islamic terrorism”, he said.
“Mr Trump will outline his vision for defeating radical Islamic terrorism, and explain how the policies of Obama-Clinton are responsible for the rise of Isis (IS) and the spread of barbarism that has taken the lives of so many”, Mr Miller said.
Trump is also expected to propose creating a new, ideological test for admission to the country that would assess a candidate’s stances on issues like religious freedom, gender equality and gay rights.
Trump also asserted that Libya, Syria, Egypt, Iraq and Iran all posed lesser threats before Obama took office.
“We will also work closely with North Atlantic Treaty Organisation on this new mission”, said Trump, whose remarks about the defense organization earlier this summer drew heavy criticism from allies and even some of his fellow Republicans.
In a speech in swing state Ohio, Trump will also call for “foreign policy realism” and an end to nation-building if elected president.

Trump is returning to the area of OH where he drew his greatest support in the March 15 Republican primary, and the epicenter of where voters crossed over from the Democratic side to cast a GOP ballot. Trump had promised to release his list of “terror countries” soon.
