“No major party nominee in the history of the United States of America has known less or been less prepared to deal with our national security than Donald Trump”, said Biden.

Trump is right that the Islamic State capitalized on the political and security vacuum in Iraq in 2014, but it’s not clear that a long-term US military occupation to hold and exploit Iraqi’s oil resources would have led to a more stable outcome.
Trump spoke in Youngstown, Ohio, where he focused his speech on national security.
We’re not exaggerating when we say that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is known for saying outrageous things. “And all of the many adversaries that we face”.
Concern has been widespread about the potential negative effects Trump could have on alliances if he is elected.
Donald Trump on Monday laid out a United States blueprint for defeating global terrorism in partnership with North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and Middle East allies, demanding extreme restrictions on immigration and likening the fight to the Cold War. Top Republicans have called on Trump to straighten out his flailing campaign.
NATO, which he has criticized as “obsolete”, was also named as an organization a Trump administration would work closely with.
“Those who do not believe in our Constitution, or who support bigotry and hatred, will not be admitted for immigration into our country”, he said in a foreign policy address in Youngstown, Ohio.
His plan included partnerships with other countries, including Muslim ones, in the fight against the so-called Islamic State militant group, but his newest idea is a test for new immigrants, The Washington Post reported.
He warned that Trump’s false assertions last week about President Barack Obama founding the Islamic State extremist group could be used by extremists to target American service members in Iraq.
“The failures in Iraq were compounded by Hillary Clinton’s disaster – total disaster – in Libya”, Trump added, referring to the US-backed North Atlantic Treaty Organisation mission that led to the ouster of Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi.
Reading from a teleprompter, Trump said Clinton did not have the judgment and character to lead the country.
In a speech in OH – outlining his plans to fight terror group ISIS – the tycoon said he wants to create a new screening test for arrivals to the US. “The time is overdue to develop a screening test for the threats we face today”.
In spite of these lagging poll numbers in red states, the prospect of Trump losing Texas is still a bit of a stretch.
A new poll shows that Donald Trump is only six points ahead of Hillary Clinton in Texas.

It is unclear if “tolerance” includes tolerance for different religious ideologies, which would be hard to reconcile with Trump’s previous call to ban all Muslims from entering the U.S.at all.
