Newly crowned Republican nominee Donald Trump thanked volunteers and staff members Friday for “an fantastic convention” and proclaimed party unity – even as he continued to bash rival Ted Cruz and re-litigated their primary disputes of the spring.

Trump has boosted his efforts to collect online donations as he races to compete with Democrat Hillary Clinton’s well-established fundraising network.

“A change in leadership is required for a change in outcomes”, Trump declared Thursday in accepting the 2016 GOP presidential nomination. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told CNN that he “totally” disagrees with Trump’s suggestion that USA support could be conditional. “We are a team”, he said in his speech.

Cruz delegate Stan Kapp, 52, said he heard everything he needed from Trump.

“I was disappointed”, Billington said. And when dad went looking for a running mate this summer, they all were a part of the process that resulted in choosing Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.
