Trump pulls out of GOP debate; Sanders to meet with Obama

At a CNN town-hall event Monday night, a student confronted Clinton about the perception that she is dishonest.

“I led the effort against Wall Street deregulation, see where Hillary Clinton was on this issue”, said Sanders.

“I think things like, what he brought up, health care, and student loan debt, is driving people from making major life decisions such as buying homes, cars, and moving along with their family plans”, Lings said.

The debate would be the fifth of the primary season and give the three presidential candidates exposure on a national stage at a pivotal time in the nominating process, three days after the victor of the Iowa caucuses has been decided.

Democratic presidential candidate, Sen. Clinton was in turns humorous, determined, knowledgeable and earnest, leaving no doubt that she has a level of political and public policy expertise that few American politicians can match.

In the interview, Obama praised all Democratic candidates and said Republicans had moved farther to the right after John McCain ran for president in 2008. Sanders said in order to make this nation a social democracy that wages war against the rich, he wants to bring back “the era of big government”, and cause government spending to increase about 10 times the amount the government planned to spend on ObamaCare.

US President Barack Obama said that while Hillary Clinton had the most experience among candidates vying to succeed him, her strengths can sometimes be her weaknesses.

She insisted she’s been under attack “because I’ve been on the front lines of change and progress since I was your age”.

Bernie Sanders is the oldest contender in the race, but he’s drawing some of the youngest supporters on the campaign trail. He said both Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are trying to be “objective and letting the people decide”. “If you are a front-runner, then you’re under more scrutiny and everybody’s going to pick you apart”. In some Iowa precincts, candidates who don’t win support from at least 15 percent of voters are declared not viable, and their supporters vote for someone else. “I don’t think that’s true”, Obama said.

He proceeded to ask her about what he perceived as an enthusiasm gap among young people for Clinton’s campaign vs. Sanders’. For some reason, Democrat women really, really believe America is a horribly oppressive and misogynistic country (could it be a liberal problem, since that’s who they surround themselves with?) and believe every word Ms. Clinton says about inequality.

Hillary's strengths can also be weaknesses, says Barack Obama
