Trump Rallies In Pennsylvania
U.S. President Donald Trump arrives to speak at a campaign rally at Atlantic Aviation in Moon Township, Pa., Saturday, March 10, 2018. The election is set for Tuesday. But Republican candidate Saccone is in a tight race in the special election for Pennsylvania’s 18th congressional district against Democrat Conor Lamb. “If the Democrats were to prevail in western Pennsylvania, that would be quite an quake”, Rep. Charlie Dent said last week.

The rally at an airport hangar in the Pittsburgh suburbs took Mr Trump back to familiar political terrain and a base that carried him to a surprise victory in 2016.
For Trump, it is not just Republican control of the House that is in danger.
“Remember I used to say, how easy it is to be presidential?”
As for reports of a possible candidacy by Oprah Winfrey, Trump said: “I’d love to beat Oprah – I know her weakness”. We have to have him. You can’t help it. That’s what we want.
Ireland, who supports Trump, said she feels that many DACA recipients could have taken steps to apply for citizenship already if they really wanted to, but she was adamant that they deserved a solution and that Democrats have dropped the ball.
At the rally, Trump also revealed what he said will be the replacement for “Make America Great Again” during a rally for a Republican congressional candidate in Pennsylvania where he lambasted several potential Democratic rivals, including Vermont Sen.
Trump occasionally mentioned Saccone, calling him “handsome” and insulting his opponent as “Lamb the sham”.
This is Trump’s first campaign rally in more than three months, breaking his pattern of gathering with his strongest supporters as often as twice in a month.
“He’s OK. He’s all right”, Trump said of Lamb. “If I came like a stiff, you guys wouldn’t be here tonight”.
Trump’s slogan remark came over a week after he tapped Brad Parscale to steer his 2020 campaign, advancing a re-election effort he began virtually since taking office.
Foreign enemies, too, occupied Trump’s mind.
“Candidates and campaigns matter, and when one candidate outraises the other 6-to-1 and runs circles around the other, it creates real challenges for outside groups trying to win a race”, said Corry Bliss, executive director for the Congressional Leadership Fund, a group aligned with U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan, which has invested $3.5 million to boost Saccone’s candidacy.
“Our new slogan when we start running in, can you believe it, two years from now, is going to be “Keep America Great” exclamation point”, Trump said from a Pennsylvania rally. He added, “All the traditional things, we’re doing”.
Trump vowed to fight any retaliatory trade measures by, for example, slapping taxes on imported European cars. “If President Trump is in your corner”, he roared, “How can you lose?” “It is impeachment. Regardless of whether one likes this president or his policies, one must ask what the outcome for the country will be if we dive into so great a distraction”.
Surprisingly, the United States is among them, at least in theory.
