Trump Ramps Up Attacks on Bill Clinton
Donald Trump is leading in the Republican primary polls partially because he’s tossed the dog whistle and speaks directly to the racist xenophobic misogyny carefully cultivated by the GOP since the days of Lee Atwater’s “Southern Strategy” for Ronald Reagan’s election. He’s every -ist in the book: racist, sexist, narcissist, for starters.

Remember that Bill Clinton was brought in to help Hillary against Obama in 2008. Sure, he’s a racist, sexist demagogue, “but he has a point about Clinton playing the ‘woman’s card, ‘ and about the male behavior that’s more concerning: her husband’s”. In 2005, Clinton, then a Democratic Senator from NY, sat in the front row of Trump’s wedding in Palm Beach, Fla. Still, as sexism goes, this feels awfully mild.
The following day, Clinton unloaded on Trump in an interview with The Des Moines Register, saying that was “not the first time he’s demonstrated a penchant for sexism”.
Ivanka Trump, who told CNN in an October interview, “I’m a businessperson, not a politician, so I’ll leave politics to other members of the family”, said that as his daughter, “It would be a little strange” if she didn’t ever disagree with her dad. “Clinton had affairs that his marriage survived”.
He called Publisher Joe McQuaid a “lowlife”, “dishonest” and “a bad guy” who is “doing a awful job”. Sure, they can appear as props in campaign ads, and nobody cares when candidates trot them out on the campaign trail.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump addresses supporters at a campaign rally in Grand Rapids. But the Clinton campaign is pushing back. I think this is just beginning. (3) Clinton’s personal improprieties and political sellouts are “indissolubly related”: “character” is important. “It’s an obvious card to play, let’s be candid”.
How many people out there who want Donald Trump to be the next President of the United States have ever said aloud, “I think Hillary Clinton would make a great president”. Trump, typically delighted with himself, pointed out, “I turned her exact words against her”.
And again, Monday morning.
Many Democrats worry that all of the arguments about Bill Clinton’s Machiavellian tendencies made by his haters in the 1990s apply to his wife in 2016. Trump fired back with a warning: If treatment of women is an issue Hillary’s campaign plans to raise throughout the campaign, the billionaire won’t be shy about raising Bill Clinton’s long history of sexual impropriety and alleged abuse.
“As a pediatric neurosurgeon, I deal with a lot of children, and I see them becoming coarser and wanting to know what certain things are that they’re hearing about on television – things that they would’ve never known about as kids before”.
When Clinton’s guilt was established by DNA testing, they changed the narrative.
Clinton’s campaign directly responded Monday night to Trump’s latest attacks, with spokeswoman Christina Reynolds blasting the candidate in a statement and fundraising email. Ordinarily, I would argue that the sins of the husband should not be visited on the wife.

Since we all want a happy and content Trump, I implore the media to leave this “golden child” alone. What happens inside a marriage is the couple’s business, no one else’s, even when both halves crave the presidency.
