And one Iowa backer says he wants “somebody who is straight shooting and tough for America”.

“So, look, I – first of all the people that are expressing support for Donald Trump now, they’re not – they’re good people”, Bush said.

“Everything that comes out of his mouth is just a disgrace”.

People appreciate a politician who displays candor.

The VA is “probably the most incompetently run agency in the United States”, Mr. Trump said.

As stated by NBC News, Trump proceeded to read the number out loud – twice. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), at a rally. Trump said, setting off immediate and widespread condemnation.

Trump set off a firestorm on Saturday when he said that McCain, a Vietnam War veteran who was held captive for more than five years, was a “war hero because he was captured“.

But The Donald insisted that he DID, in actuality, refer to McCain as a “hero”, but that the media has refused to play the entire clip. Still, Trump should apologize to other prisoners of war and their families.

Bob Kerrey, former USA senator and governor of Nebraska, served in the Vietnam War as a Navy SEAL and was awarded the Medal of Honor. The fact remains that he became a hero because of his misfortune.

The storm over Trump is proving to be fodder for Democrats. Insulting American POWs is not the way to win over the electorate.

The Republican contest has so far been a civil affair with candidates generally declining to attack one another and instead focusing on what they would do for the country. The protesters were off to the side of the Sun City auditorium, holding up signs critical of Trumps comments on illegal immigration.

“It’s not just absurd”, said Florida Senator Marco Rubio. Marco Rubio said in an interview on CNN.

If McCain is anything like me, he isn’t raging with Trump over his latest insult.

Immigration is a perennially tricky issue for Republicans, which may help explain why some of the presidential candidates have been cautious in their response to Trump on that issue. Others are also joining in the criticism.

“EXCUSE Maine!” Trump bellowed when asked this question. So he’ll keep saying outrageous things, until the glow wears off.

It also seems clear, to the dismay of the Republican establishment, that Mr Trump will be on that stage. “The reason they’re hitting me is when you register zero in the polls, what the hell, you have nothing to lose”.
