Trump releases medical records to Dr. Oz: read full report

It does not provide a comprehensive look at Trump’s health.

Bornstein’s note reveals that Trump takes a cholesterol-lowering drug and a low-dose aspirin and points out that he does not use tobacco or alcohol. He also said that he hasn’t been in a hospital since an appendectomy, at age 11. His good cholesterol, HDL, is 63, and his bad cholesterol, LDL, is 94.

Trump handed the medical reported signed by Harold Bornstein to Dr. Oz.

The TV appearance gives the appearance of transparency, but the summary by Bornstein will fall far short of experts’ calls for detailed information about Trump’s health and medical history.

Bornstein later said he only took five minutes to write that clean bill of health, and a Trump auto was waiting outside while he penned the note.

However, Conway said the discussion would be general in nature and that Trump would publicly release results from a recent physical “when he get the results from his doctor”.

A statement from the show said Dr Oz took Mr Trump “through a full review”, looking at his nervous system, cardiovascular health, prostate health and family medical history. The interview is scheduled to air on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016.

Asked by Mehmet Oz if he has the guts to reveal his medical results, Trump replied: ‘ Well, I have no problem doing that’. He was in good health overall. Trump’s interview was scheduled prior to Clinton’s health incident. Dr. Bornstein said he’s been Trump’s doctor since November 6, 1980, and has been on the active staff of Lenox Hill Hospital in NY for the past 38 years.

The Republican presidential candidate told Oz that he would like to “lose a little weight”.

He said they shouldn’t have to.

But Trump spokesman Jason Miller said in an email to Reuters Thursday afternoon that Trump Jr. was trying to point out media bias.

“It’s his personal records”.
