Trump Rented Mar-A-Lago to Pam Bondi at Severe Discount

Prior to her taking office, Florida’s attorney general’s office received 20 complaints against Trump Institute, a business affiliated with Trump, but it, too, was out of business.

Trump reportedly paid the IRS a $2,500 penalty this year because his foundation broke tax laws by making a political contribution to Bondi in 2013 when she was in the midst of deciding whether to pursue an investigation against Trump University.

Right. Because the generals already know what they could do to quickly defeat ISIS, and they’re just holding out on President Obama, waiting to tell President Trump.

By contrast, Trump considers Bondi, who now campaigns for him, a “truly wonderful woman”. The New York Times reports a history of this.

For the most part, Trump has seemed unrepentant. Trump’s foundation donated $25,000 to Bondi’s political action committee.

“I was under the impression that I was getting my money back”, he told the New York State Commission on Government Integrity. Trump Foundation made the payment four days after a newspaper reported Bondi’s office was considering opening up a formal investigation into the now-defunct Trump University, which it never did. “Never spoken to her about it, never”, Trump said, according to the Washington Post.

The financial error wouldn’t have as much of an issue had Bondi not received it at the same time she was considering whether Florida should investigate complaints that Trump University had defrauded consumers.

That’s when Bondi announced she wasn’t going forward with a lawsuit against Trump and wouldn’t join Schneiderman’s lawsuit, citing insufficient evidence to prosecute the NY real estate mogul, according to the AP.

On Aug. 25, 2013, the office of New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman announced a civil lawsuit seeking $40 million in restitution for customers allegedly ripped off by Trump University.

Previously, Todd had argued that a Trump presidency could bring unprecedented danger to press freedoms and press access to the White House – despite the fact that Clinton’s campaign has been marked by a fear of journalists and blatant distaste for answering their questions. After a period of deliberation, Florida did not join the lawsuit, by coincidence; the timeline equated a campaign donation. The group further asserts the donation made through the foundation benefited Trump personally.

TRUMP: I’ve got to give it to them, because when I want something I get it.

“You’d better believe it”, Trump responded. I’ve got to give to them. And do you know what? Trump made this boast repeatedly.

Though it is immediately unclear what factory or environmental standards Trump is talking about specifically – and therefore unverifiable – his claims about lackluster job development is congruent with on-the-ground complaints by many Haitans and local government leaders. Under oath, he said he had circumvented the state’s $50,000 individual and $5,000 corporate contribution limits by disbursing his contributions to Stein, the city councilman, through 18 subsidiary companies.

“Because everyone knows there’s three things Ivanka Trump cares about: the real estate business, high-end fashion, and down-ballot Florida politics”, Meyers said.

“I don’t think this was a lengthy, memorable call”, Hicks said. He denied ever agreeing to do Trump any favors.

The Federal Election Commission included Trump’s violation of a $25,000 limit in the 1988 elections in a case study of its worse violations, “Selected List of Cases”.
