Trump and other critics say Obama authorized a too-rapid withdrawal from Iraq, giving rise to the Islamic State. You can read it while you wait for the next stupid thing Trump says. “He was the founder”.
“The actions of the Obama administration in withdrawing from Iraq, going to zero. actually set the conditions for the recovery of al Qaeda in Iraq, which then became ISIS”.
Trump added later: “No, it’s no mistake”.
Trump did not back down, asking on CNBC: “Is there something wrong with saying that?”
In his latest outburst, Donald Trump has pinned blame for ISIS on Barack Obama. He’s the founder. He founded ISIS. “Anyone willing to sink so low, so often should never be allowed to serve as our commander-in-chief”.
The White House has not responded to Trump.
Hewitt said he did not like Trump’s word choice.
“Do you not like that?” He said in January that their policies “created ISIS”. “They created the Libyan vacuum, they created the vacuum into which ISIS came, but they didn’t create ISIS”, the radio host explained.
“I know what you’re arguing”, Hewitt tirelessly continued. “I was totally against it even though as a civilian so nobody cared”. I mean, I don’t know if you agree with that, but every single poll, you know, they have Drudge and they have Time and they have Time Magazine, and they have, you know, like six or seven, and I was in 11 debates. In fact, he gets in sports they have awards – he gets the Most Valuable Player award. “That’s how they get out”. I know what you meant. He pledged loyalty to Osama bin Laden and wanted “to foment a civil war” by targeting Shiite Muslims, “causing them to retaliate against Sunnis, who would then have no choice but to turn to jihadists for protection”, PBS reported.
“We are absolutely going to keep trading”.
The comments from 2007 were resurfaced Thursday by Buzzfeed.
Trump didn’t mention the controversy directly in his appearances Wednesday, but he did launch a concerted attack against Clinton running mate Tim Kaine in the Virginia senator’s home state.
The New York businessman added again that he would characterize Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, as the “co-founder”.
On Thursday, Time magazine claimed that Republican National Committee chair Reince Priebus had told Trump that if he did not manage to right his listing campaign, the party might abandon support for his presidential bid and focus instead on Republicans running for Congress elsewhere in the country.

In a wide-ranging interview, Trump also said the United States will continue engaging in free trade if he is elected. “It goes without saying that this is a false claim from a presidential candidate with an aversion to the truth and an unprecedented lack of knowledge”, senior policy adviser Jake Sullivan said in a statement.
