In his speech at the Republican convention earlier this month, Trump Jr had declared: ‘We will not accept the current state of our country because it’s too hard to change.
The final evening of the Democratic National Convention was one of the most anticipated closers for political watchers and millions of viewers who waited for Democratic Presidential nominee to speak. “But then I started running into people who told me stories”, she said and and listed out some of the stories about Trump. I’m not here to take away your guns. Democrats hammered home those themes this week with an array of politicians, celebrities, gun-violence victims, law enforcement officers and activists of all sexual preferences and races.
On the other hand, 57 percent of those who watched the RNC said they found Trump’s speech to be very positive, and overall 75 percent positive.
Citing the anti-establishment nature of the Sanders and Trump campaigns, one protester pointed out that, “for some people, Bernie is the person they stuck with, but there are some anti-establishment things they want, and they’ll go with Trump”.
Kaine said “there’s still an terrible lot of fix work” to be done on the economy, particularly with regard to job creation.
And 82% of those CNN polled said Clinton’s policies would move the country in the right direction.
The new presidential candidate was introduced by her daughter Chelsea, who spoke of her mother as “a woman “driven by compassion, by faith, by kindness, a fierce sense of justice, and a heart full of love”.
If the convention was a coronation for Clinton, it was also the beginning of a long farewell to Barack and Michelle Obama as they prepare to leave the White House.
Sanders, incidentally agrees. “It is easy to boo”, he told supporters this week.
Twitter users have zeroed in on Clinton’s gleeful reaction to the celebratory balloons, with some expecting further fireworks as her presidential face-off with Donald Trump kicks off. “Your cause is our cause”.

On the convention’s closing night, Khizr Khan, an American Muslim whose son was killed in military service, emotionally implored voters to stop Trump, who has called for a temporary ban on Muslim immigration.
