Trump returns to GOP debate, where Rubio could face attacks
Donald Trump has canceled a New Hampshire town hall amid threats of a snowstorm there. Now, his campaign is thinking small.

In New Hampshire this past week, many voters interviewed said they had yet to receive mail or phone calls from Trump’s campaign. He also visited with a local police department and a property-management company.
Followed by Marco Rubio in second place Ted Cruz and John Kasich almost tied for third, with Bush a hair behind. Ted Cruz is too right wing to beat the Democrats in November.
“I think look, we’ll take nothing for granted”, said Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, a New Hampshire resident overseeing the effort. It had to be moved into the school’s gymnasium to fit a larger-than-expected crowd. “We’re trying to reach out to as many people as we can in whatever way we can, and that includes finding those opportunities for more people to connect with him one on one”. And many mainstream Republicans, like former state party Chairman Cullen – figure their numbers are self-defeating.
A second-place in New Hampshire would add to momentum for Rubio as the race looks toward the SC and Super Tuesday primaries. They are centrist Republicans, self-made men, intelligent figures who have governed states and genuinely like the profession they are in.
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie says Donald Trump will be welcomed back to the debate stage “with open arms”.
“I am a farmer and a white nationalist”.
Govs. Larry Hogan of Maryland and Charlie Baker of MA kicked off a rally for Christie in Bedford. Hogan says all three are conservatives getting things done in their states. He stood on stage, behind a podium, suit coat on. It was a fusion of Christie’s signature style and his own. His handlers surround him and coddle him.
Trump isn’t entirely new to the town hall format.
Carson’s son, Murray Carson, who made his first trip to the Granite State to campaign with his father, also addressed the Iowa rumor. “His celebrity status allows for that”. You had the sense of a tightly run, efficient organization. “But at the same time, you can’t win a presidential election by just having massive rallies”.
“You know what? After I do, she’ll be relieved because she’ll just be anxious I was going to serve her with a subpoena”, Christie said. “He’s working extremely, extremely hard”.
“Overall, he’s a victor and he’s going to show that in the election”, said Phil Potter, who works in real estate in the Florence area.
Rider University Political Scientist Ben Dworkin said that he would hesitate to call Christie’s exit from the race so soon.
“If he’s going after Marco, it means he’s not going after me, which warms my heart because I’ve been on the end of that pole…by Chris Christie, and he’s pretty good at it”, Bush said.
Trump should explain why Cruz is wrong on National Security Agency data gathering (Trump is for a robust plan), while Cruz should explain why Trump’s stance toward Russian Federation is misguided.
Jeb Bush said: “We need a servant leader”.
Christie says, “if you reward those folks who don’t show up here there is no reason for New Hampshire to be first”.
Clinton, the former secretary of state, is battling U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont for the Democratic nomination. “This is a Bernie plant”.
And when someone shouted that immigrants were the backbone of the country, Trump answered, “Illegal immigrants are the backbone of our country? And the week after that I’ll be in Nevada”, he said.
After brief remarks, Trump did something he’s largely avoided so far this cycle: take questions from the audience. When asked how he’d deal with an obstructionist Congress, he referenced his skills in negotiating complicated real-estate deals, including his acquisition of a soon-to-be Trump-branded hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue near the White House in Washington.
Jeb Bush mocked Trump for canceling his event, tweeting at his rival: “My 90 year old mother made it out to campaign”.

He opted for even stronger language when referencing politicians in general.
