Trump reversed birther stance ‘to get on with’ campaign

Mrs. Clinton’s security meeting came just two days before the country marked the 15th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center in NY, and the Pentagon in Washington.

The poll was conducted after a tough stretch in which Clinton was sidelined with pneumonia and came under fire for referring to Trump supporters as “deplorables”.

But it may also have been Clinton, at a September 9 fundraiser, describing “half” of Trump supporters as a “basket of deplorables”, that brought the Birther issue back into focus. The 1-point difference is within the margin of error and puts them at a virtual tie.

“My biggest concern is. that people accommodate their questions and lower the bar of their questions to suit the candidate in front of them”, Jennifer Palmieri, Clinton’s communications director, told reporters traveling on the candidate’s plane to a campaign event here.

In Colorado, Nevada and Ohio, Trump is now projected to be ahead of Clinton by two points or less. “We want to talk about bringing jobs back to this area because you’ve been decimated so we just wanted to get back on the subject of jobs, military, taking care of our vets, etc”. In that election, the group made up 28 percent of the electorate and backed Romney over President Barack Obama by 10 percentage points, exit polls show.

The commission said this first debate will have six time segments for about 15 minutes each. “I regret saying “half” – that was wrong”, she said in a statement. He tweets and retweets their offensive, hateful, mean-spirited rhetoric.

As someone who speaks a few dialects of Arabic and has studied and traveled widely among the Arabs, I suspect that more extreme Islamists (some of whom may have donated to the Clinton Foundation) are praying for Hillary’s victory.

And part of the reason Americans believe the country is headed in the wrong direction is that the culture is being yanked out from underneath them by liberals like Clinton. They don’t buy everything he says, but he seems to hold out some hope that their lives will be different.

The Commission on Presidential Debates, a bipartisan organization that manages the events, will host the first of three general election presidential debates at Hofstra University in NY on Monday, September 26. If Trump wins all of the current swing states, he could take as many as 299 votes.
