Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Thursday the Republican establishment is “warming up” to his candidacy as he ramped up his attacks against his chief rival, Texas Sen.

“We’re seeing the Washington establishment abandoning Marco Rubio and unifying behind Donald Trump”, Cruz told reporters in New Hampshire. “Now that was a moment where every Republican could decide where he or she stood”, Cruz said as attendees nodded along.

“Guys like Ted Cruz will never make a deal because he’s a strident guy”, Trump said, pushing back against the idea that collaboration is a dirty word.

“I do worry a little bit more about Donald Trump”, Paul told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on Thursday.

Beck, a Dallas-based influential conservative radio talk-show host, will campaign with Cruz in Iowa on Saturday.

“I think eminent domain is wonderful”. Democratic caucus-goers said they trust the Vermont senator over Clinton on the economy by 22 points, and 67% said they thought he would do more to help the middle class, as opposed to 30% who felt that way about Clinton.

During an appearance by Sarah Palin at a Trump rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the politician addressed her son Track’s recent domestic violence charges, and attempted to connect his arrest to President Obama and his alleged neglect of veterans.

In three national polls, voters would go for Trump rather than Hillary Clinton for the president and they show upwards of 20 per cent of Democrat voters would switch to vote for Trump over Clinton. The author of “The Art of the Deal” suggested that Cruz, largely boxed out of Senate deal making circles, can’t operate effectively in office.

“For anyone who cares about the issue of amnesty, who cares about border security, that moment was the rubicon, it was the battle right there and then”, he said.

“[Establishment Republicans] have made this calculation that they believe both Trump and Cruz would be harmful to the party in the general election.
But they think if it’s Trump, it’s just one cycle. I will continue to praise him personally”.

Trump hit back at the criticism of the magazine in his usual manner – a broadside of (grammatically incorrect) tweets, saying the publication’s influence has waned. “In order to get Sarah to political events to support endorsed candidates we need your help to fundraise her travel”.

“They are trying to take away so many rights”, he said. A number of current and former lawmakers are echoing the criticisms of Cruz voiced by Dole and Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad, who urged voters this week not to support Cruz because of his position on ethanol subsidies.
