Trump’s African-American Supporters Are Unapologetic

Anyone who doubts this should only consider Trump’s idea of an appeal to African American voters: “What do you have to lose by trying something new like Trump?” “No group. No group. It is a disgrace”.

Forty percent of Detroit’s residents, 40 percent, live in poverty. They are for all practical purposes politically disenfranchised by being the handmaiden of the Democrats. “America must reject the bigotry of Hillary Clinton”, Trump said.

“The only way to change results is to change leadership”. President Barack Obama won roughly 93 percent of black voters in his re-election campaign in 2012. “A new future requires brand new leadership”, he said.

“African Americans in MI have so much to lose if Donald Trump is elected as the next president”, said Congresswoman Brenda Lawrence.

Trump added: “To every lawbreaker hurting innocent people in this country, I say: your free reign will soon come crashing to an end”. “What do you have to lose?” Whereas some find fault in Trump for not being sufficiently indoctrinated to the conventional wisdom of politics, I see a refreshing refusal to be a slave to it. A quarter of the black population is, according to data from the Kaiser Family Foundation, about the same as the percentage of Hispanics.

What he is saying Marjorie that Democrats claimed to want to help the African-American community and they haven’t. In contrast, Clinton would build on the progress under our nation’s first African American president to create jobs and by making investments in infrastructure and housing, breaking down barriers for the formerly incarcerated, supporting small businesses and investing in youth employment. You have no jobs-58% of your youth is unemployed. Does that mean dispensing with Title I support for schools serving impoverished students? This isn’t a metric that Labor typically uses, for obvious reasons, but calculating the rates for young whites gives you about 50 percent, too. Over the last few days, the GOP nominee’s numbers among black voters spiked to 13.6%.

Democratic pundits are fond of poking fun at Republicans when they make overtures to minority voters, suggesting that they are “tone-deaf”.

In the battle between Trump and Hillary Clinton, Trump consistently lands in the low-single-digits of support from black Americans. He’s earned and richly deserves the near universal loathing he gets from Black voters.

Nichols continued, “I believe that if we give Mr. Trump a chance, I believe that things in MI are going to change”. He knows that there’s no point in this given his disgusting racial track record from barring Blacks from his apartment buildings, to his campaign for the death penalty for the falsely accused Central Park five, to his phony, fraudulent birther savaging of President Obama. Some black people, research shows, live in places besides the “inner city”. It could be, simply enough, that Trump doesn’t have anyone in his inner circle that can provide a sense of how to reach out to the black community. One adviser said on CNN that the fact Trump made his appeal in a mostly white town wasn’t a big deal, and that “maybe it would have been nice if he went and had a backdrop with a burning auto”.

In fact, Trump’s recent offensive appears to be paying off: In the LA Times/USC tracking poll, which shows a close national election generally, Trump’s support among African-Americans has spiked from 5% to 15%, a jump of 10%. Even before Obama, more than 90 percent of blacks voted for John Kerry and Al Gore. Maybe this is an attempt to get them to see him as doing real outreach, even if he isn’t.

Blacks, however, have been very much in Donald Trump’s political play book.

Donald Trump points the reality that majority of African-Americans have nothing to lose because they have no education, jobs, and anything. “Because the votes have been automatically there, there has been no reason for Democrats to produce”.

BuzzFeed News talked to black attendees at the Trump rally and asked them for their views on the Republican’s remarks. That rally was on the heels of two other recent speeches in communities with similar demographics: Dimondale, Michigan and La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Democrats have gotten the Black vote for almost a half century for two brutal and compelling political reasons.

Donald Trump on Friday continued his outreach to African American voters presenting them with a stark question'What the hell do you have to lose
