Trump’s Campaign Takes Safe Route in Revamp of Ridiculed Logo
Earlier today he formally disclosed what many already knew and others couldn’t stop speculating about: Indiana Gov. Mike Pence is his vice presidential running mate. Unfortunately, it may lack the decorum his design team likely expected.

On Friday afternoon shortly after Donald Trump unceremoniously announced his vice presidential pick Mike Pence via Twitter, the campaign issued a new official logo, an interlocked T and P, forming what appears to be an American flag.
ABC News reported on Thursday that Trump had chosen Pence. Using a color palette of red, white, and blue, the logo features the names of both candidates with the “Make America Great Again!” slogan at the bottom.
Similarities between the Trump/Pence logo and the Aryan Nations logo, were not overlooked either. Pence has been trying to patch things up over the past two days, but in their 60 Minutes sit-down, Leslie Stahl asked him about whether he condones Trump’s incredibly negative campaign after having prominently spoken out against political mudslinging. It’s also possible that they weren’t prepared for the barrage of mocking GIFs and images.

“We’re different people. I understand that”, Trump said.
