“It’s highly unlikely to cause a political penalty, and there is no evidence that it has”. He also voiced support for a database to track Muslims in the country. On Sunday, November 23, Trump appeared on the ABC News interview program “This Week”, and reiterated his false claims about seeing televised reports on Muslim celebrations in Jersey City after the 9/11 attacks. Mr. Trump maintains that in the immediate aftermath of the attacks, he saw television clips of Muslims in New Jersey rejoicing that the US had been attacked.

“His most egregious action that stands for the primary reason why he is persona non grata with the Latino community, including the Latino conservative community, is the engagement of demeaning, condescending, spiteful rhetoric as it pertains to the immigrant community”, said Rev. But his recent comments on Muslim Americans are crossing the line from offensive, to risky. But opposition jumped in the run-up to the US invasion of Iraq and around major elections.
