Trump’s Connection to Dakota Access Pipeline
LOS ANGELES-The Justice League may be saving the Earth on the big screen, but they’re championing another cause in real life.

The quintet stars in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Justice League movie, which is now filming.
The Standing Rock Youth, oppose the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline through the Missouri and Cannon Ball River because it poses a serious threat to the water and the land. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash-it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions. Thousands of demonstrators from more than 100 tribes came together at a construction site in North Dakota to protest against the project, which would funnel 500,000 barrels of crude oil per day to IL if the pipeline is completed.
“As a gang of Earth defenders”, Miller says, “we want to send a big shoutout to the Oceti Sakowin [the proper name for the Sioux] and those who stand with them in opposing the Dakota Access Pipeline”. Ben Affleck, Gal Godot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher (conspicuously missing Henry Cavill) all lent their voices to the protest in the above video. A petition opposing the pipeline on Change.org acquired more than 260,000 signatures.
