The Istanbul Trump Towers complex, opened in 2012 at a cost of $400 million, has over 200 luxury residential apartments in the nearly 40-storey landmark twin towers in the Mecidiyekoy district of Istanbul.

Dozens of protesters have gathered in NY, to rally against comments made by Republican Presidential front-runner Donald Trump about banning Muslims entering the United States.
The website for the 68-story Trump Towers (trumptowerny.com), often used for his presidential campaign, was down after a tweet from an account associated with the anonymous hacking collective that said: “Trump Towers NY site taken down as statement against racism and hatred”. This summer, the Professional Golfers Association of America canceled its Grand Slam of Golf tournament at Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles, following Trump’s statement that Mexican immigrants were bringing crime and drugs into the United States and committing rape.
Coral’s Nicola McGeady said: “Donald Trump is attracting bets an alarming rate despite his outrageous statements this week”.
He said: “Because of his continually divisive, discriminatory and unsafe behaviour, it is right that the UK Government should look at banning Mr Trump from entering the UK in order to send a strong message that his behaviour can not and will not be tolerated”.
Trump’s inflammatory comments against refugees and Muslims have provoked angry reactions from around the world.
In a recent interview to news channel CNN, Trump had said he is “doing good for the Muslims” and is the “least racist person”.
“After the Paris attacks and hate this week I can only imagine the fear Muslims feel that they will be persecuted for the actions of others”, he wrote. It isn’t in the US’s best interest to have a man that’s banned from some of the most important developed countries. Lucy Lawless, the actress who played Xena Warrior Princess, said she would not stay in Trump hotels following the Republican candidate’s remarks.

And there could be more: Trump in August said it had signed a deal to manage a six-star resort in Bali, Indonesia – a country that hosts the world’s biggest Muslim population.
Mr Trump provoked widespread anger and ridicule after demanding a block on Muslims entering the USA and claiming parts of London were “so radicalised” that police were “afraid for their own lives”. By Thursday, the image had gone, a Reuters photographer said.

“I think he is an idiot, but it does not prevent me from coming here”, he said. “They saw those two animals (in San Bernardino) last week go out and shoot people”. Nakheel says it no longer has any business association with Trump.
