Trump’s health status revealed: High cholesterol

US Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence’s campaign on Saturday released a letter from Pence’s doctor, claiming that the running mate of Donald Trump is in “excellent” health.

The doctor also stated that Trump is in “excellent physical health”.

Trump appeared on “The Dr. Oz” show on September 15, and greeted his daughter, Ivanka, with a kiss when she joined her father for the interview. Earlier, the Democratic presidential candidate, 68- year-old Hillary Clinton released her updated medical record after a bout of pneumonia, with her doctor saying she is “fit to serve” as US President. “We are pleased to disclose all of the test results which show that Trump is in excellent health and has the stamina to endure uninterrupted the rigours of a punishing and unprecedented campaign and more importantly, the singularly demanding job of President of the U.S.”, the campaign said.

“You are medically able to maintain your high level of professional work and your physical activity programs without limitations”, said the letter written by Michael Busk of the St. Vincent Health, Wellness and Preventative care Institute in Indianapolis.

Trump made a decision to reveal the letter that was signed by his doctor Dr. Harold N. Bornstein.

Social media went wild after Thursday’s show showed Fallon giving Mr. Trump a free pass – not issuing a single “real” question about real issues and seemingly pandering to a man many have accused of being racist, sexist, xenophobic and so many other bad things.

The letter explains that Trump takes a statin, a drug that lowers high cholesterol, and is overweight.

According to NBC’s Peter Alexander, Dr. Oz remarked, “it’s nice to see a dad kiss his daughter”, to which Trump replied, “I kiss her every chance I get”.
