Trump’s new attack against Clinton uses ‘short-circuited’ line against her
The Trump campaign released a new online video mocking his Democratic rival as a malfunctioning robot after her recent assertion that she “short-circuited” during an interview about the FBI’s investigation into her use of a private email server as secretary of state.

FBI Director James Comey, who investigated Clinton’s private server and emails, said there was no evidence to support the allegations that Hillary Clinton’s private email server was hacked. Clinton nevertheless implied that escaping a charge of lying to federal agents was tantamount to demonstrating that her public statements about the emails were true, since “what I’ve said is consistent with what I have told the American people”. For example, while she has somewhat improved her over-all favorability, according to the latest Washington Post/ABC News Poll, 6 in 10 registered voters still say “she is not honest and trustworthy” and an even higher percentage say she is “too willing to bend the rules”.
This post has been seen 24 times. And so, what we may want to make more of it, the fact has said we should move on and get to real important matters of the country.
Still, working to restore some trust will put Clinton in an even stronger position to win- what remains a potentially close race-by eliminating her greatest point of vulnerability. Mrs. Clinton claimed there was “nothing marked classified”; Mr. Comey testified: “That’s not true”.
While she apologized for her private email account, she doubled down on her central defense. Her statements on the email issue certainly are worthy of scrutiny, but mischaracterizing her comments in this manner is simply wrong.
CHUCK TODD: You know, in fact, in an interview the other day, you said she told you she’s going to do it differently.
GOWDY: Secretary Clinton said, “I did not e-mail classified significant to anyone on my e-mail”.
BECERRA: But, Chris, what you don’t also show is that Director Comey said that she had no knowledge of some of those so-called classified e-mail because they were not either not marked or they were not classified at the time or incorrectly marked.

During an appearance on “Meet the Press”, Kaine said he thought “Chris Wallace and Hillary were sort of talking past each other last week”. Aides says she’s conducted over 300 interviews since launching her campaign, but she has shied away from open forums where reporters can ask questions. But the bottom line is this.
