Trump’s new normal: campaign rallies where chaos is expected
But Secret Service members quickly pounced on the intruder.

After a few moments, a visibly startled Trump gave a thumbs-up and thanked the cheering crowd for warning him. “We’re not going to have any more protesters”.
Kansas City police said pepper spray was used two times outside the Trump rally, and two people were arrested. The spokesman added that Trump was able to finish delivering his remarks. “It just makes all of our friends and supporters more angry, and we’re going to go to the polls on Tuesday, and it’ll be a resounding victory”.
This, of course, is not any other campaign.
Since Feb. 29, there have been at least a half a dozen instances of violent or potentially violent altercations at Trump campaign events.
Trump blamed supporters of Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders for the incidents in Chicago, where scuffles broke out between protesters and backers of the real estate magnate.
Trump in February urged his supporters to “knock the crap out of” anybody “getting ready to throw a tomato” and vowed to pay for their legal fees should they face charges.
That’s when the “rally” began to look more like a scrum, with fists, bottles and threats flying. The incident has raised questions from critics about the tone he has set for the campaign.
Trump has rallies scheduled Sunday in Illinois, Florida and OH ahead of Tuesday primaries that likely offer GOP rivals their last shot to derail Trump from reaching the 1,237 delegates required for the Republican nomination. “There is no place for a national leader to prey on the fears of the people who live in our country”.
WASHINGTON (CNN) – Bernie Sanders said Saturday that his supporters were not to blame for the unrest that led to the cancellation of a Donald Trump rally in Chicago, instead accusing the Republican front-runner of encouraging violence.
But the 74 year-old strongly hit back, saying: “As is the case virtually every day, Donald Trump is showing the American people that he is a pathological liar”.
Eric Deters, a local spokesman for Trump’s campaign, said the candidate’s secret service security detail could not complete its preparation work in time to hold the event at the Duke Energy Convention Centre in Cincinnati, the website said. Florida elections officials said they had not heard of any such problems and had received no formal complaints.
Trump mocked his political opponents for censuring his supporters and the environment at his rallies. Seriously”, he said. “Okay?
“If you play with matches, you’re going to start a fire you can’t control”, she said. “I promise. I promise”.
Several of the protesters in Chicago said they are supporters of the Democratic candidate.
Never mind that the man had no tomatoes.
A statement issued by his campaign said: “Mr Trump just arrived in Chicago and after meeting with law enforcement has determined that for the safety of all of the tens and thousands of people that have gathered in and around the arena, tonight’s rally will be postponed to another date”. Based on jail records, Thomas Dimassimo was arrested for disorderly conduct and inducing panic.
