So, between the democratic frontrunner and the Republican nominee, who is actually better equipped to influence their parties’ voters, independent voters and the opposition party’s voters to bring the most votes to their respective side?
The super PAC backing Hillary Clinton’s bid for president is out with a new advertisement taking aim at Donald Trump and his controversial comments about people with disabilities. Trump is less politically experienced, but has built his brand and fortune through decades of visionary stewardship and business ventures.
Priorities USA plans to spend a reported $130 million on a television ad campaign created to help turn out female, black, and Latino voters, many of whom have been alienated by Trump’s inflammatory rhetoric. There are ethnic and social issue driven bases of supporters that clearly lean more favorably to one side or the other.
“When I saw Donald Trump mock a disabled reporter I was shocked”, said Lauren Garlos, whose daughter, Grace, is featured in the ad.
Unsurprisingly, Trump is unpopular among women voters. “Donald Trump should never be our president”.
“Trump supporters don’t have any bad feelings about patriotic Americans such as myself, so I’ll be safe from that crowd”, Adams said, “But Clinton supporters have convinced me – and here I am being 100% serious – that my safety is at risk if I am seen as supportive of Trump”.
The GOP nominee discussed Bernie Sanders supporters directly stating that the Democratic nomination was rigged. Some polls now favor Bernie Sanders, however, his youthful dominance is not enough to defeat Trump.
Trump impressed the Republican party that has been reluctant to support the Republican due to his harsh comments and unusual political stance.
In the coming months there will unquestionably be some very intense moments.
The 2016 Republican National Convention will be held in Cleveland, Ohio from July 18-21. Some protesters have been seen burning American flags, some seen proudly displaying soviet Russian flags.
However, Trump’s campaign has only gotten more negative in recent weeks, so that Kasich endorsement now seems unlikely.
