Trump Says Clinton Trying To Divert Attention Through ‘Star Of David’ Tweet

Trump tweeted out the picture, but within hours the campaign deleted the tweet, and replaced it with the same picture, but the star was replaced with a solid circle.

There’s a certain tension between Republican leaders and the GOP’s presumptive candidate Donald Trump.

Trump went on to defend his social media director, Dan Scavino, and pointed to his daughter Ivanka, son-in-law Jared Kushner and their three children to prove he’s not anti-Jewish.

Clinton raised nearly $70 million in June for her campaign and Democratic partners, her campaign announced last week, an amount that included about $40 million that went directly into her campaign coffers. An entertainment writer at the New York Observer posted an open letter to Kushner online urging him to rebuke the tweet.

“I don’t think Trump hates Jewish people, but I know some of his supporters do, in addition to black people, Muslims, Mexicans, you know, most people, ” Noah said before laying out some of the candidate’s most racist retweets. “I don’t know if they even have a director of Jewish outreach”. He’s under fire from the press, Republicans have nothing to say in his defense, and he’s sending out erratic statements denying that the shape is a Star of David.

It’s been no secret that there is no love lost between presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump and many establishment Republicans.

The image that Trump tweeted came from neo-Nazis.

The Clinton campaign’s direct access to cash has enabled it to spend tens of millions of dollars more than Trump to build up voter contact operations and advertisements ahead of the November election.

Ben Carson, a Trump supporter, said Tuesday on MSNBC that “it doesn’t really matter” if Trump adjusts his social-media style because he is going to face criticism anyway.

Ryan also said that if he commented on every “ridiculous” tweet sent out by the Trump campaign, “I’d have no time for anything else”.

Donald Trump has not apologized for the tweet or offered a complete explanation for how his campaign chose the image.

“Trump personally contributed $3.8 million to the campaign this month which brings total contributions to $55 million”, the statement said.

The first email appeal – which included a $2 million match from Trump – exceeded the goal, collecting more than $3 million in contributions in one day, the campaign said.
