Former US Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio says he will not be anybody’s running-mate in the November 8 presidential election, slamming down rumours that he was seeking the vice presidential nod from former rivals. There will be states to come that Sanders will win.

He said that if he was, say, 20 votes or 100 votes short, and did not get the nomination: “I think you’d have riots…I am representing many millions of people…”
Mr. Trump, you would be on firmer ground if the Republican establishment changed the rules at the last minute to withhold a nomination you’d legitimately won.
With Rubio’s decision to drop out, three Republican candidates remain in the White House race – Trump, Kasich and Texas Sen. But Rubio praised Cruz as “the only conservative left in the race”.
Cruz and Kasich are now fighting to keep Trump from reaching 1,237 delegates.

Among Republicans, Trump leads with 31 percent. They each get 10 percent. She also won in Florida after having a massive lead over her sole rival Senator Bernie Sanders.

So Kasich won his home state of OH, and all 66 of its delegates. As indicated above, however, Trump and Cruz want him to step aside.
But Ms Clinton and her supporters are already looking to the general election, apparently relishing the prospect of a showdown with Mr Trump. The same goes with the death penalty where Clinton likely didn’t ever envision having to defend her pro-death penalty stance against a candidate who adamantly opposes the policy. Although the senator has vowed to stay in the race through the convention in Philadelphia, the results Tuesday may have transformed him into a message candidate.

Update: Well, now I’ve seen everything. That was the highest amount recorded for a Presidential primary in Missouri history. Lindsey Graham will host a fundraiser on Monday in support of Sen.
