“We’re gonna win it, that’s why I’m here”. Some will be protesters who plan to rally in nearby Clark Park before marching to the arena.

The New York businessman is scheduled to hold a rally in Everett at Xfinity Arena at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The rally includes Everett Mayor Ray Stephanson.
“After that takes place, we are going to sit back, we’re going to assess the situation, we’re going to see where we are because we will have people in the country that have come in the country illegally”, he said. U.S. Senate candidate Chris Vance and U.S. Rep. Dave Reichert told KUOW they won’t attend the rally; the three other Republican members of the Washington Congressional delegation did not respond to KUOW’s emails for this story and are not expected to attend the event.
The GOP nominee also vowed to stop the flow of drugs across the southern border.
Trump also, in front of the largely white Everett crowd, continued his efforts to appeal to minority voters. That’s ten percentage points less for the Republican Party, and a 5 percentage point increase for the Democrats.
Trump still lags far behind his predecessor, 2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney, who won 27 percent of Latinos, compared to President Barack Obama’s 71 percent. Protesters gathered near the facility but they were outnumbered by Trump supporters.
Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton has a fairly safe 96 percent chance of winning the 12 electoral votes Washington offers.
“I think it’s incredible we have a Presidential candidate who’s coming to Washington state three times to speak directly to the people in free public rallies”, Washington state Senator and Trump campaign spokesperson Doug Ericksen said.
Democratic and Republican candidates campaigned here before the Washington caucus and primaries this spring.

This is the first time Trump has visited the state since May, when he delivered two speeches in Spokane and Lynden.
