But in the poll, nearly twice as many voters who called themselves “very conservative” said they trust Trump over Ryan: 63 percent versus 34 percent.

Trump, who has alarmed many with a call for barring all Muslims from entering the United States, demoted his proposed ban last week, saying it was “just a suggestion”.
The survey, conducted by Joel Searby at the Gainesville-based firm Data Targeting, also shows that 55 percent favor an independent run for president this year, and 65 percent say that they are at least somewhat, pretty or very willing to support a candidate for president who is not Trump or Clinton. The VP nominees’ records wouldn’t be made public.
Before a single vote had been cast in either primary, Trump slammed the former president in January as “one of the great women abusers of all time”, calling the former secretary of state a hypocrite for accusing him of sexism.
“The true test for Donald Trump is whether he will adhere to the precedent followed by every presidential candidate in the modern era and make his tax returns available, as Hillary Clinton has done”, Reynolds said.
Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have disclosed their personal finances, with documents showing both US presidential hopefuls earning millions of dollars, albeit at different levels. This month, it’s narrowed to four points: Clinton 46 percent to Trump 42 percent, with only 12 percent undecided.
When Broaddrick was subpoenaed to testify in a sexual harassment suit by Paula Jones against the then-president in 1997, she submitted a sworn affidavit denying “unfounded rumors and stories circulated that Mr. Clinton had made unwelcome sexual advances toward me in the late seventies”.
Hillary Clinton’s 2015 disclosure showed the couple’s total worth was estimated to be between about $11 million and $53 million, according to the broad ranges typically provided by the federal form. Another 57% think Clinton does not have strong moral values and 58% said that about Trump. The big question is: Which charities?
“What we’re watching here is theater of the absurd”, said Fred Wertheimer, who leads the watchdog group Democracy 21. “They don’t know what they’re talking about”, Trump told CNN last July in response to that estimate.
The report, similar to one Trump filed earlier, includes more than 45 financial transactions Trump has made since announcing his candidacy on June 16 of past year.
A single fundraising event for Trump Victory could net tens of millions of dollars. Fifteen of these speeches were already reported in Clinton’s 2015 financial disclosure report.
Trump also touted the fact that he had filed his financial disclosure before Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, who is competing with Clinton for the Democratic nomination.
Officials with the National Republican Senatorial Committee didn’t respond to several requests for comment. Candidates can ask for an extension for filing those documents, but are eventually required to do so.

The form provides little evidence that Trump’s combative campaign has harmed his business prospects.
