Her running mate Tim Kaine, along with his wife Anne Holton, paid a rate of 20.3%, his returns show.

In a statement accompanying the release, Clinton spokeswoman Jennifer Palmieri noted that this release stands “in stark contrast” to Trump’s refusal to release his tax filings, as has been standard procedure for decades.

Hillary Clinton has released her tax returns, adding to the pressure on her Republican rival for the White House, Donald Trump, to do the same.

The Clintons have released many years’ worth of tax returns, but 2013 was the only year they provided a detailed list of where they gave paid speeches. Their 2015 return was released today by the Clinton campaign, nearly five months after they signed it for filing. He has also said they are no one else’s business.

The Clintons reported total income of $10.7 million past year, and adjusted gross income of $10.5 million.

Democrats hint that by not releasing his tax returns, Trump may be trying to hide that he pays little to no tax, makes less money than he claims or gives a negligible amount to charity.

“Donald Trump should release his tax returns”, on-screen text reads at the beginning of the video.

The Clinton campaign has published the last eight years of Clinton’s personal tax returns, covering 2007-2014, on her campaign website.

But billionaire Mr Trump has declined to release his, arguing that his tax returns for the past several years are being audited.

The 2015 tax documents from the Clintons don’t specify which businesses paid the Clintons to speak. The top-line numbers: Hillary and Bill Clinton earned a combined $10.6 million previous year, roughly $6 million of which came from speaking fees paid by corporations and other organizations.

Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton spoke today in front of a few hundred people at Futuramic, an aerospace and automotive parts manufacturing company.

“All told, the Clintons have made their tax returns public for every year dating back to 1977”, according to the news release.

What’s more, the Clintons lowered their tax liability by giving to charity.

Now it’s time for more Republicans to demand Trump release his taxes.
