Trump Shares Results From Medical Exam on ‘Dr. Oz Show’

U.S. presidential hopeful Donald Trump has handed over a one-page summary of a recent physical examination on a doctor’s television show – but his campaign will not reveal what was disclosed.

In a short clip released by The Dr. Oz Show Wednesday afternoon, Trump, 70, revs up the crowd as he hands over two pages of test results after being questioned by the television physician in an interview to air in full Thursday.

Trump’s presentation of the one-page summary was a surprise because Trump campaign aides had said earlier in the day that the exam results would not be shared during the show taping.

Trump has been pledging to release more medical details for some time, a promise that took on renewed significance this week after the news that Hillary Clinton had pneumonia. She is expected to return to the campaign trail on Thursday. But she added, “He was going to talk about the fact that he had a physical and what the results are or what the doctor may have told him to date”.

Trump’s daughter Ivanka then joined him to speak the campaign’s childcare and maternity leave initiative.

The doctor who examined Trump was Dr. Harold Bornstein, according to a release by “The Dr. Oz Show”.

Oz did give Trump a clean bill of health overall.

So far Clinton is winning the health transparency game by a wide margin by having released two letters from her doctor. His four-parahraph letter was written in five minutes while a limo sent by Trump waited outside his Mahattan office, NBC News reported.

The Trump campaign now says it will likely release later this week information based on a physical exam Trump underwent last week.

Trump also discussed “his views on major health care policy including their recently announced child care plan and the major health care issues facing this country”, the show announced.

In an interview with Fox News Radio’s “Kilmeade & Friends”, Oz, who did not examine Trump, said he will ask Trump about his “personal health regimen” and analyze the numbers from his physical live.

“Hopefully they’re going to be good”, he said.
