Trump shares results of physical on Dr. Oz
Mr Trump released the letter following a recent physical examination by Dr Harold N Bornstein. Trump also revealed that he, at 6 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 236 pounds, putting him just shy of the threshold for obesity. The letter says Trump does not drink or smoke, and takes only rosuvastatin, a lipid lowering agent, and low-dose aspirin on a regular basis.

The note continues to detail parts of Mr Trump’s medical record, including that he was only in hospital once at age 11 for an appendectomy.
Following Hillary Clinton’s pneumonia scare, Donald shared his medical information on ‘The Dr. Oz Show.’ During the visit, Donald admitted he needs drugs to control his cholesterol – does this mean he has a bad heart? On Wednesday, she released updated details from her doctor declaring her fit to serve as president. Trump is 70, and if elected would be the oldest incoming president.
“Not knowing if we would see Mr. Trump’s medical records, I planned to do a full review of systems with Mr. Trump.”
His four-parahraph letter was written in five minutes while a limo sent by Trump waited outside his Mahattan office, NBC News reported. He has a cholesterol level of 169, with his level of high-density lipoproteins at 63, his low-density lipoproteins at 94.
The letter also states the candidate’s liver function and thyroid function are “within normal range”.
It adds that he does not use tobacco or consume alcohol – abstention he has attributed in the past to the death of his older brother Freddy due to alcoholism. Clinton plans to resume campaigning on Thursday, her spokesman said.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump speaks to the Economic Club of New York, Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016, in New York. I don’t care what happens between Donald Trump and his doctor, but if he’s going to take shots at his opponent’s health, and make claims that he has been examined, then he ought to be made to at the very least verify the meager claim he’s making. The candidate did say he’d like to lose some weight.
“There is no family history of premature cardiac or neoplastic disease”, he wrote. During a rally in Canton, Ohio, Trump said: “You think Hillary would be able to stand up here for an hour and do this?”.
Trump Jr.’s comments came after he in another interview dropped his father’s campaign’s argument that he hasn’t released his tax returns because of ongoing IRS audits – instead saying those returns would distract from his father’s message.

Dr Harold Bernstein said the 70 year old Republican presidential nominee weighs 16.9 stones (107.32kg) – which is overweight, and almost obese, for his 6ft3ins height, according to official BMI tables in America.
