Trump shows medical records to Dr. Oz
So the appearance on Ozs show, announced Friday, had been anticipated as a potential breakthrough, as Trumps aides had said that over the next few days he would release results from the physical examination, which was conducted last week. In the brief, five-paragraph letter, Dr. Harold Bornstein, an internist at Lenox Hill Hospital in NY, says he’s been Trump’s doctor since November 1980.

Too much for daytime TV? Dr. Mehmet Oz is being highly criticized after his production team edited out Donald Trump’s comment about kissing Ivanka for an episode of The Dr. Oz Show that aired Thursday, September 15. However, Trump said he has high cholesterol and likes fast food.
Dr. Harold Bornstein, Trump’s physician, proclaimed the 70-year-old to be in “excellent physical health”.
Multiple audience members told CNN that Trump said he does not exercise regularly. But one of them – Kelly Platt, a pharmacist intern who said she is a Trump supporter – said Trump told Oz that he is so good at golf he could join the PGA Tour. Those are healthy levels, but he does use a cholesterol-lowering statin medication – rosuvastatin, better known as the brand Crestor. The show released a short clip on Wednesday that did not include any medical information.
“Because he’s got a 12,000-page tax return that would create. financial auditors out of every person in the country asking questions that would detract from (his father’s) main message”, Trump, Jr. told the Tribune-Review in Pennsylvania in a piece published Wednesday.
Prior to the taping, there had been speculation about whether or not Trump would share his medical history with Oz.
“What if there’s some embarrassing things on there?”
“I mean, if Republicans were doing that, they’d be warming up the gas chamber right now”.
Kilmeade followed up: “Oh, it’s still going to be his decision?”
“It’s his decision”, Oz said in the interview. Still, it doesn’t offer a complete picture of the candidate’s health.

The contents of that medical summary were revealed by Dr. Oz and then Trump answered some questions that the TV doctor asked him. In 2014, Oz appeared on Capitol Hill to testify about weight-loss product fraud and was grilled by Senator Claire McCaskill, who accused him of being part of the problem. Her campaign first said she had overheated and later said she had been diagnosed with pneumonia. But on Tuesday, his campaign manager began complaining about the level of scrutiny the candidate’s health was receiving and insisted that demanding Trump release health records violates his privacy. The audience applauds, and Trump hands Oz what he says are two letters regarding the physical.
