Trump softening on immigration
Donald Trump is planning to delay a speech on his immigration proposals in the wake of some reporting and comments that suggested to some possible changes to his policies.

The news comes one week after the campaign was reshuffled behind manager Kellyanne Conway and became “more presidential” in its delivery and message, as former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has said.
Trump’s hard-line stances on immigration – particularly his proposal to deport as many as 11 million immigrants living in the country illegally and linking immigrants to crime – is being credited for hurting his numbers in Colorado, where he trails Democrat Hillary Clinton by double-digits in multiple polls.
In his interview with O’Reilly, Trump asserted that while he would not back down on mass deportations, he would handle them in “a humane manner”.
But in a meeting with Hispanic activists Saturday, Trump indicated he was open to considering allowing those who have not committed crimes, beyond their immigration offenses, to obtain some form of legal status – though attendees stressed Trump has yet to make up his mind.
A spokeswoman for the Trump operation in Colorado said the campaign had been looking into hosting such an event but the plans had changed, the Denver Post reported Monday.
And on Monday, Conway said the plan to deport 11 million people was never set in stone.
“And when I say watch, you know what I’m talking about, right?”
“Lots of people were brought out of the country with the existing laws”. A two-thirds insane, egotistical madman who believes he is the only person who can solve America’s problems and insults every friend and foe we have in the world?
“He never said the word “deportation” and he never said the word ‘legalization, ‘” Ferre told MSNBC on Monday.
Conway echoed Priebus’ optimism, contending that the candidate just had the best week of his campaign, “mostly because he’s able to be himself, the authentic Donald Trump”.
Trump also said in response to a question that he would not put undocumented immigrants in detention centers.
On Monday, Trump also called on the Clintons to shut down their charitable foundation “immediately”.

In recent weeks, Trump has delivered several carefully scripted speeches as his team attempts to regain some semblance of control in the race following weeks of plummeting poll numbers.
