Trump softens stance on immigration policy

As has been the case since he brought on longtime GOP strategist Kellyanne Conway and Breitbart news chief Steve Bannon a week ago, Trump spoke from a teleprompter, though he improvised throughout.

Trump said he would outline his position soon. We have killers. We have a lot of bad people that have to get out of this country. In West Bend, Wisc., a town that is predominantly white, Trump said, “I’m asking for the vote of every African-American citizen struggling in our country today, who want a different and much better future”. “These are players, I know a lot of these players”, Trump said. “I say, what do you have to lose?”

“To those suffering and hurting and the people left behind, I say: Vote for Donald Trump”, as the crowd cheered. “What the hell do you have to lose?” However, based on the examples we’ve already seen, numerous people in this group likely either worked for companies or belonged to organizations that made such contributions rather than writing a personal check. To the Hispanic vote, who have absolutely been treated terribly.

He also saluted his campaign’s recent outreach to minorities, saying “I think we’re doing really great with minority voters”.

“You come out from the shadows”.

Trump says that if he’s elected, he’ll make sure everyone can walk down the street without being shot.

He repeated the same refrain to the Hispanic voter. He said his father’s returns are massive and “you would have a bunch of people who know nothing about taxes” looking through them and making “assumptions on things they know nothing about”.

Trump has previously rejected high-profile speaking slots at the NAACP’s annual gathering, along with events sponsored by the Urban League and the National Association of Black Journalists.

Most political observers agree that North Carolina is one of the key battleground states Donald Trump will need if he’s to have any chance of winning the presidency. “Let me go a step further – they’ll pay back-taxes, they have to pay taxes, there’s no amnesty, as such, there’s no amnesty, but we work with them”, Trump told Sean Hannity when asked if he would allow for exceptions to his long-held position.

And just this week, the Associated Press reported that the personal social media accounts of several paid Trump campaign staffers revealed racist communications that included, “A graphic designer for Trump’s advance team approvingly posted video of a black man eating fried chicken and criticizing fellow blacks for ignorance, irresponsibility and having too many children”. Then she lied about her crime to Congress over and over again.

Trump has rejected Clinton’s allegations, labeling her a bigot.

Not so. In 2012, Mitt Romney went to predominantly black West Philadelphia to meet with the kids of an inner-city charter school. “He saved Hillary Clinton from facing justice for her illegal and corrupt actions”.

Donald Trump on Wednesday signaled a significant reversal on immigration, the signature issue that propelled him to the Republican presidential nomination. You have the right to own your home.

But Trump was saddled with another inflammatory revelation Friday when court papers surfaced showing that an ex-wife of Trump’s new campaign CEO, Stephen Bannon, said Bannon made anti-Semitic remarks when the two battled over sending their daughters to private school almost a decade ago.

The quickest reversal came before the Wisconsin primary, when Trump was asked about his stance on abortion.

Instead, Pence said, “I might put it on my dog”. That being said, I don’t think it’s reasonable to say you’re going to round up and deport 11 million people.

The celebrity businessman, however, has stuck to his vow to build a wall to fortify the nation’s southern border with Mexico and to deport immigrants here illegally who have committed criminal and violent acts. “His answer then was there could be some softening, which I didn’t quite hear as he’d be willing to change the law …”
