Republican and Democratic presidential candidates from both parties have condemned the recent uptick in violence at Trump events. Seriously…. I promise you, I will pay for the legal fees. Naturally, the condemnation from the left has been even more forceful, particularly after Trump blamed Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders supporters for disrupting his Friday night rally in Chicago. Another event planned for last Friday in Chicago was cancelled after a large group of protestors entered the building.

Rather than accepting any blame for the violence that occurred during his rallies, Trump fired back at Sanders and issued a warning to the Vermont senator via Twitter early Sunday morning. The assailant was later identified as a Sanders supporter.
“I’m troubled by the rallies that Donald holds, where he asks all the people there to raise their hand and pledge their support to him”, Cruz said on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” continuing, “This is America”.
Trump said his rallies are “peaceful”, and accused news reports of exaggerating the violence. Bernard Sanders’ supporters Sunday for inciting protests at his rallies, and vowed to send his own supporters to Sanders’ events, as the GOP front-runner continued to court controversy ahead of Tuesday’s slate of primaries.
“I told the police there might be problems”, Trump told a crowd according to The Kansas City Star.
Later Saturday, at a rally in Cleveland where protesters sporadically interrupted him, Trump predicted that the images of Chicago would only embolden his supporters. Trump insisted that there is provocation from the protesters in his rallies.
Republicans in five states will go to the polls, with the elections in Florida and OH likely to re-shape the Republican race.
Chicago police say two officers sustained injuries when supporters of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump clashed with protesters after he abruptly canceled a campaign rally.
He says people who identified themselves as Secret Service took him off stage and let him back into the crowd, but things got worse.
On the Democratic side, Sanders said on CBS’ “Face the Nation” that he has “millions of supporters”, some of whom “will do what they do”. “There are people out there that are not completely in control of themselves and they hear something like this from a leader, you don’t know what they’re going to do next”. “I would say it again”.
Senator Ted Cruz of Texas is Trump’s leading Republican opponent.

“We should take Mr. Trump’s words with a grain of salt, because I think, as nearly everybody knows, this man can not stop lying about anything”, he said. Sanders said on CNN that Trump “is a man who keeps implying violence, and then you end up getting what you see”.
