Trump Supporter Allegedly Beats Up 69-Year-Old Woman With Oxygen Tank

At least one violent altercation erupted at a Trump rally Monday night in North Carolina, just as the Republican presidential nominee was offering an impassioned defense of his supporters.

Clinton had said she regretted saying the word “half”, but said she will continue to call out the “bigotry” in the Trump campaign.

Authorities have issued a warrant for Campbell, 73, and arrested five other people in connection to the attack.

It’s not clear if the Trump supporter connected when he swung at the protester.

The man pulled another protester toward him and shouted back and forth with a third, female protester while a member of Trump’s security team held him back.

“The dishonest media will not report that”, Trump said.

Trump himself has come under fire for rhetoric against minorities during his campaign for the November 8 election, including describing Mexican immigrants as criminals and rapists, suggesting a judge could not be fair because of his Mexican-American heritage, and proposing a temporary ban on Muslim immigration to the United States.

Trump had brought a group of supporters on stage, proclaiming them hard-working Americans, not “deplorables”.

She was there to protest against Donald Trump – despite the fact she needs to wear an oxygen tank.

The woman, who carries an oxygen tank with her, told the Citizen-Times a man punched her in the jaw after she told people leaving the rally, “You better learn to speak Russian”, referring to Donald Trump’s positive comments about Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump has also been accused of stoking violence at his rallies, telling supporters during a February rally that he’d “like to punch him (a protester) in the face”.
