Trump was expected to hold a rally early Monday evening in Asheville.

As they were walking down the steps, a man in the crowd grabbed a male protester around the neck and then punched him. Even then, the man stands near the protester with his fist cocked.

Another day, another rally and another incident caught on camera purportedly showing a Trump supporter being violent with a protester – and getting away with it.

The incident on Monday came as Trump lambasted Hillary Clinton for calling half of his supporters a “basket of deplorables”, accusing her of running a “hate-filled” campaign.

Clinton has said she regretted saying the word “half”, but said she will continue to call out the “bigotry” in the Trump campaign.

Although police officers were present throughout the arena, the US Cellular Center, they didn’t intervene or arrest the unidentified Trump supporter.

Trump denounced the comment as “an explicit attack on the American voter” and suggested that it makes her unfit for the presidency. Many of those in the rowdy crowd flipped off the protesters.
