Trump team rips Cruz for flip flopping

Trump continues to hit Ted Cruz with everything he can following the Republican debate on Wednesday night in which he hammered him over his eligibility to run for president and his criticism of “New York values”.

The last sentence of Cruz’s provocative comment was in direct response to Trump’s previous statement that “not a lot of evangelicals come out of Cuba”, using Cruz’s father’s home country to call into question his faith.

“Those are you words, Jeff”, Cruz told his host, only adding that he “likes” and “respects” him.

“He’s got an edge that’s not good”. “People will continue to make political noise about it, but as a legal matter it is quite straightforward”.

“At the end of the day the American people will decide who is telling the truth, who is, in fact, been a consistent conservative, not who has adopted conservative language on the campaign trails, but who has walked the walk”, Cruz said.

In the Fox interview, Cruz explained what he meant when he said that Trump has “New York values”, a term he equates with being “far left” and “liberal”.

“If when the battle is being fought and you don’t stand up and show up to fight, then your credibility when you’re a presidential candidate when you say, ‘Gosh, I really care about amnesty, ‘ becomes a little suspect”, Cruz said.

Limbaugh warned in December that Trump was using “left-wing, liberal language” in attacking Cruz when he went went after him for opposing ethanol subsidies.

“He’s a total hypocrite”, he said. Trump told reporters that Cruz was “a friend of mine” and “a good guy”. Those states will have the nation’s first nominating contests of 2016.

He said he apologized to black school children who couldn’t go to charter schools, jobs lost in NY because of a fracking ban and other things that irk conservatives.

The ad will be airing in the early voting states of Iowa and New Hampshire, according to the campaign.

The Trump team’s attack comes as hostility between its camp and the Cruz campaign is at an all-time high.

In a sign of their increasing separation from the rest of the field, Trump and Cruz have spent the past week focused on tearing each other down, ending the de facto alliance they had maintained to this point in the race.

“I think he’s transparent and I believe it’s time for change”, Bourque said. “Ronald Reagan was a voice of consistency and I’m pretty sure that Ronald Reagan didn’t write checks and support Democratic politicians like Andrew Cuomo, like Anthony Weiner, like Hillary Clinton”. “Says one thing for money, does another for votes”.

“I’m campaigning on behalf of American values”.

Meanwhile, de Blasio again bashed Cruz, and said NY donors who have contributed to him should ask for their money back.

“When you look at what he said, and the way he said it and the scorn towards NY, I thought it was a disgrace”, he said.
