Trump threatens to bring Gennifer Flowers to debate
His selection as the Trump stand-in means that Clinton wants an opponent in her mock debates who knows her flaws and how to exploit them and who is fearless about getting under her skin the way that Trump might at their first debate Monday night.

Rick Lazio, a Republican former congressman from NY, found Clinton a tough opponent when he faced her in a U.S. Senate debate in NY in 2000.
Millions of viewers are also expected to watch online as many websites and social media platforms, such as Facebook and Twitter, will offer free video streaming of the event.
“Trump needs to do what Ronald Reagan did in 1980 and demonstrate to the American people that he has the temperament and the ability to be president”, he said.
Clinton, in contrast, has spent most of this week with close aides at her Dutch colonial home in Chappaqua, a hamlet north of NY city.
Hillary Clinton and Trump are to face off in the first of three televised presidential debates on Monday evening (local time).
Equally, the spectacles we’re about to witness might be pyrotechnic enough, but they’re unlikely to decide the result in November.
“If that does not happen for some reason, then the moderator has the prerogative to step in and ask for clarification”, says McCurry, who was a White House press secretary for President Bill Clinton. “I do. And it wouldn’t have anything to do with my debate performance either”.
Trump’s campaign does not want to fill his head with facts and figures, but instead, they want him to practice staying focused on bigger themes, such as jobs, terrorism, protecting the homeland and closing borders, rather than picking fights on side issues. He went on to become a senior adviser to Clinton at the State Department. Yet it’s Clinton, not Trump, who is under the most pressure when the two presidential candidates face off Monday night in NY.
Conway says voters deserve and expect a debate about issues such as the economy, health care, terrorism and national security.
An assistant to Flowers also confirmed to BuzzFeed News that the model was willing to attend.
In 1998, Bill Clinton acknowledged under oath having a sexual encounter with Flowers, though he disputed details of her account.
“I know that sounds wishy-washy”, he said. In previous debates, Lehane says, she “has done very well when she has been the counterpuncher. It depends on what level she hits you with, if she’s fair, if it’s unfair, but certainly I’m not looking to do that”.
Clinton “has a record of service and a raft of pragmatic ideas”, whereas Trump “discloses nothing concrete about himself or his plans while promising the moon and offering the stars on layaway”, the paper said.
The debate will be divided into six 15-minute time segments that begin with with a question, NBC News reported.
When Holt asks a question, each candidate will have two minutes to respond.
Clinton has spent weeks preparing for Monday’s first debate against Trump. So tune in at 6 p.m. Monday, and for the three debates (one featuring vice presidential candidates Tim Kaine and Mike Pence) that follow.
The next debate will take place on October 9 at Washington University in St. Louis and will be moderated by Martha Raddatz, Chief Global Affairs Correspondent and Co-Anchor of “This Week” on ABC and Anderson Cooper. The third and final Presidential Debate will be at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 19.

For Clinton to overcome that gap, she will have to prove, perhaps in the upcoming debates, that her economic policies would better bolster the middle class. While Clinton has since recovered and her doctors maintain that she is in good overall health – she is one year younger than Trump – the questions surrounding Clinton have seemingly resonated with voters.
