Trump to GOP: Be ‘Careful’ Pushing Rubio, I Signed Pledge

GOP voters who oppose the bombastic billionaire have their favorites. A man that was escorted out of the rally gave his take on why. “How are we going to grow the party if we nominate someone who doesn’t repudiate the Ku Klux Klan?” “I know nothing about white supremacists”. But he’s expected to capture dozens of delegates because those states award them on a proportional basis. Texas Senator Ted Cruz is focusing his efforts on his home state and its 155 of the roughly 600 delegates at stake Tuesday.

Rubio’s strategy doesn’t depend on winning states now.

Trump reportedly knew Duke in 2000 and cited him, Pat Buchanan and Lenora Fulani when explaining why he stopped considering a presidential run under the Reform Party. Who has the best chance to win which states?

The other two Republican presidential candidates, Ohio Gov. John Kasich and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, were far back. To win the nomination, Democratic candidates need at least 2,383 delegates while Republicans need at least 1,237.

The CNN/ORC International poll was conducted among 427 Republican and Republican-leaning voters and has a margin of error of +/- 5 percentage points.

A Quinnipiac University poll of likely GOP primary voters released Thursday suggests it’s not looking good for the senator from West Miami. But when the pollsters re-contacted close to 30 percent of all likely GOP voters in the three states the day after the debate, they found that Rubio was considered the victor of the debate, followed by Trump.

Marco Rubio is going all-in blasting Donald Trump’s physical appearance.

“I think there are many out there who are rooting for that outcome so that he’s the nominee, and you can see it in the coverage he’s gotten”, he said.

Cruz and Marco Rubio are the leading contenders trying to slow down Trump.

Rubio spoke about free enterprise, America’s future and his feelings towards other candidates, like rival Donald Trump.

On CNN’s State of the Union host Jake Tapper asked Cruz on Sunday about recent denunciations of Trump by Sen.

Trump regularly tells voters he’s self-funding his campaign, a claim he reiterated Friday night at a campaign rally in Oklahoma City, touting the unorthodox move as a sign that he won’t be beholden to big donors and special interests.

“Trump refuses to denounce the KKK”, the narrator says. OH holds its primary on March 15, and Kasich made clear he’d be in the race until then.

“It is time to stop the excuses”, Cruz said in the release.
