Trump to Russia: Dig up Clinton’s e-mail
She handed over thousands of emails in 2015 to United States officials probing that system, but did not release about 30,000 deleted emails she said were personal and not work-related. As Politico reports, whether or not Trump’s unsafe comments will actually meet the legal definition of treason is unlikely to be explored, but it’s worth noting that Republicans themselves are applying the word to their own presidential nominee, underscoring the deep concern that everyone should have regarding national security, and just how badly Donald Trump will damage it – and our standing in the world.

Right before the Democratic National Convention, Wikileaks released emails it took from Democrat leadership, which among other things showed party officials discussing ways to guarantee a Clinton victory in the primary season.
Russian Federation told the United States on Thursday to get to the bottom of a hacking scandal involving Democratic Party emails itself and rejected what Donald Trump said was a sarcastic suggestion that Moscow should dig up Hillary Clinton’s “missing” emails.
Donald Trump-the Republican nominee for President of the United States-was speaking about the controversial email hack of the DNC and the allegations that Russian Federation is possibly behind it. Trump went on live television and said, “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing”, -referring to the emails deleted by Hillary Clinton related to her controversial use of a private email server while serving as Secretary of State.
Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomes U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit in Vladivostok, Russia on September 8, 2012.
Trump claims he was being sarcastic, and his media boosters are saying the same, but if it was meant to be sarcasm, it’s unclear why both Mike Pence and Paul Ryan had to do damage control after. “That would make it far easier to install friendly dictators in small nearby countries, like Estonia, or even annex them entirely”.
“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing”, said Trump, speaking at one of his golf resorts.
I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by the press. “And frankly, they don’t even know if it’s Russian Federation, if it’s China, if it’s someone else”. He added, “Trump was clearly saying that if Russian Federation or others have Clinton’s 33,000 illegally deleted emails, they should share them w/ Federal Bureau of Investigation immed”. Obama also appeared to embrace the notion that Putin might have been responsible because of what he described as Trump’s affinity for Putin. “I haven’t seen that'”.
But when a reporter asked Trump about that sentiment, the nominee replied, “I’m not going to tell Putin what to do”.
Clinton campaign senior policy adviser Jake Sullivan said Wednesday that Trump’s comments were a “national security issue”.
Suggestions of Russian involvement have riled the Kremlin, which has categorically denied this and accused USA politicians of seeking to play on Cold War-style US fears of Moscow by fabricating stories for electoral purposes.
Democrats and some Republicans quickly condemned Trumps remarks. WikiLeaks says to expect more disclosures in the days and weeks to come.
“He’s running his country and at least he’s a leader, unlike what he have in this country”, Trump said.
“Although the Kremlin does support some extremist figures across Europe such as Marine Le Pen and others in Germany, any serious cooperation between Trump and Putin is unlikely”, said the expert.
