Trump Tower Climber Identified, Seeks ‘Private Audience’ With Donald

The man who led police on a cat-and-mouse chase up the side of Trump Tower in Midtown Wednesday afternoon and into the evening has been identified as 19-year-old Stephen Rogata, of Great Falls, Virginia.

“The reason I climbed your tower, is to get your attention”, he said. He had no intention of hurting anyone, he told police.

Real estate tycoon Donald Trump, whom police said Rogata wanted to meet, was out of town at the time on the campaign trail.

Later on, we find out he’s a fan of the business mogul.

“When it presented itself, I reached out, took hold of his hand and said, “Sir, please come with me”, and I brought him inside with the help of my partner”, Williams said.

Eventually two officers leaned out of a 21st floor window and yanked him inside, head first.

Trump Tower is the Republican nominee’s grandest and highest-profile property, and where his campaign is headquartered.

I doubt “Steve” will be getting his requested meeting with the candidate.

He was apprehended around 6:30 p.m., three hours after the stunt began.
