Trump Tower rent almost quintuples after donors take over payments
Trump has made two appearances in MI since his nomination. Is he anxious that his most fervent supporters – the folk who chant “Build that wall!” at rallies – will stick with their man, even when he says he’ll effectively be an extension of Obama?

“So, as an example, Donald Trump is renting space in one of his buildings to his campaign and the campaign is paying Donald Trump personally for the space”, Kaine said during a roundtable in Lakewood, Colorado.
The Virginia senator also said that Clinton wants to make it easier for community banks and credit unions to finance start-ups and small businesses expansions.
He said: “I’ve asked in recent days, what do you have to lose by trying something new? Give me a chance”.
Trump officials criticized the Clintons’ charitable foundation in the wake of its announcement that it would not accept donations from foreign contributors if Clinton were elected president.
The congressional members and a NY city official, speaking as Hillary Clinton supporters, said Trump’s pleas for support from their respective communities showed he is “grossly out of touch”, and that he is awakening to the fact that he is performing poorly in communities of color.
He also said the Justice Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation “can’t be trusted” to investigate the foundation after declining to prosecute Clinton over the email scandal.
Despite the price hikes, Trump is still paying less for his campaign headquarters than rival Hillary Clinton.
It’s a well-known electoral conundrum: The United States population grows less white with each election cycle, so to defeat Democrat Hillary Clinton, the NY billionaire must attract more non-white voters or run up an advantage with white voters to a level no candidate has reached since Ronald Reagan’s 1984 landslide.
Trump seemingly jacked up the rent on his Trump Tower space once he wasn’t footing the bill.
He also bashed Clinton’s immigration policy, saying it would lead to “open borders”. He said the 600,000 Latino-owned businesses in Florida would benefit under his economic plan, but he offered few specifics.
“As far as everybody else, we’re going to go through the process”, he said, citing the policies of President Barack Obama and former President George W. Bush as examples.
“They’re going to be out of this country so fast, your head will spin”, he said. He has insisted that he will make Mexico pay for the wall.
Trump has expanded his outreach to black voters this month as he seeks to close the gap with Clinton in state and national polls.
The Republican presidential nominee had been slated to unveil the proposal Thursday in Denver. This assessment, while encouragingly on-point, presents a serious obstacle to the Trump campaign. Some left the private meeting at Trump’s home buoyed by the discussion and predicting a change in Trump’s calls for mass deportations.

Black Republicans cheer Donald Trump for a newfound outreach to African-Americans, but say the GOP presidential nominee must take his message beyond arenas filled with white supporters and venture into the inner cities.
