Trump tweets the media is ‘the enemy of the American people’

President Donald Trump deemed his Thursday press conference a success because conservative right-wing radio host Rush Limbaugh complimented his performance.

Jared Kushner recently met with an executive from CNN’s parent company and complained about what he sees as the network’s unfair and anti-Trump coverage, the Wall Street Journal reports.

News flash, Mr. Trump: It is not the media’s job to constantly praise you.

The presser quickly went off the rails as the 70-year-old business mogul vehemently defended his presidency and lashed out at the “dishonest” press for publishing “fake news”, including about his Russian Federation scandal.

“You said today that you had the biggest electoral margin since Ronald Reagan, with 304, 306 electoral votes”. “No, but the tone is such hatred”.

“When the media lies to the people, I will never let them get away with it”. I would love to meet with the black caucus.

But are you going to sit by once again, remain tight-lipped and ignore the obvious, Republicans?

The fact that it was discarded led some to hope that the president realized that the language may have had fascist overtones, which he reflected on and deleted accordingly.

“And I have to say Fox and Friends in the morning – they are very honourable people”.

Donald Trump, you’ve gone and done it. “So why should should Americans trust”.

Trump: “I was given that information, I was just given it”.

“This is our mantra, ‘buy American and hire American.’ We want products made in America, made by American hands”, he said, pledging to wean the country off imports.

Trump also took the opportunity to hit out at his predecessor saying he “inherited a mess at home and abroad”.

“I think it will be up to the American people to decide whether the press is on their side or whether the president is on their side”.

“OK, sit down. So here’s the story, folks. The people deserve that answer, at very least”. The reporter corrected Mr Trump in real time, noting Mr Barack Obama’s and Mr George W Bush’s tallies were higher than his.

Well after the sun went down, the criticism of Trump continued on the late night talk shows. Then shame on you, my Congressman, Peter Roskam.
