Addressing the audience, Trump’s new Colorado state director Patrick Davis told supporters to vote for the three pro-Trump delegate candidates on a glossy brochure the campaign distributed.

And in a new TV ad, first reported by The New York Times, Kasich’s campaign says Cruz won’t be able to defeat Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton in the general election.
“I’ve got this guy standing over there, looking at me, talking about New York values with scorn in his face, with hated, with hatred of New York”, Trump said, drawing a chorus of boos.
Riverside County Republican Party Chairman Scott Mann said there haven’t been any straw polls conducted in his region, but he thinks the conservative Cruz plays well with the constituency there.
Cruz got a better reception in Brooklyn, where he stopped to get a hands-on lesson in making matzah.
“I know Ted Cruz thinks they’re his newfound friends …”
“A group of students will be leaving during 4th period, as act of civil disobedience in regards to the arrival of Ted Cruz”, students said in a letter to the principal obtained by New York Daily News.
CRUZ: He’s hunting for delegates in NY, a state not built to be promising ground for him. Losing even a handful of districts could hurt Trump’s effort to amass the 1,237 delegates necessary to secure the nomination.
The remainder of Colorado’s delegates will be chosen at district conventions Friday and the state convention Saturday in Colorado Springs.
As we await final results from Colorado, it appears that Ted Cruz will obtain more delegates in addition to the 17 he already has. Although initiated by Cruz Trump added fuel to the fire after posting a bad photo of Heidi Cruz, Cruz’s wife, and defending said action saying Cruz started it which Anderson Cooper called the argument of a 5-year-old. Otherwise, the victor in the district gets two delegates and the runner-up one.
He said Cruz and Kasich have been organizing leadership teams in the county and he has heard from the Cruz campaign that they will open offices in Cochella Valley and Temecula in the next couple of weeks. He dismissed Trump as too liberal and Ohio Gov. John Kasich as running too far behind to win the nomination. The 2016 election, especially among Republicans, is being driven by a distrust of the political establishment, and Mr. Trump has warned there could be “riots” if the convention produces a nominee who didn’t have the most votes.
Trump has said he’ll win a lawsuit filed against Trump University and defended the venture last month.
In Maryland, a Washington Post/University of Maryland poll released this week finds Trump ahead of Kasich by 10 points in the state.

“Coloradans, naturally having that pioneer spirit, gravitate toward someone like Cruz”, said state Rep. Justin Everett, one of Cruz’s pledged delegates.
