Trump versus the rest: Republican race turns nasty
“Nobody has ever hit my hands”, Trump said, referring to rival Florida Senator Marco Rubio’s recent personal attack stating that the celebrity billionaire has small hands.

Today Donald Trump sustained one of the most extraordinary attacks in USA political history from the immediate past Republican nominee Mitt Romney, backed by Senator John McCain – the 2008 candidate.
Two former presidential candidates, 60 foreign policy and security experts and numerous other leaders of the Republican Party got together to slow down Donald Trump’s seemingly unstoppable march towards winning the party’s presidential nomination, but that may not be sufficient to halt the front runner.
Trump opened the debate with his devastating response to Rubio joking about the size of Trump’s hands and saying “you know what they say about men with small hands”.
Romney’s strategy risks backfiring by further energising Trump’s supporters, who are angry with a party they see as not defending their interests.
“Mr. Trump, one of the things people love about you is they believe you tell it like it is”, she said.
Asked if he would support the Republican nominee if it’s not him, Trump said, “Yes I will”.
Rubio asked Trump why he does not bring his clothing-making operations to the United States from China and Mexico if he is so interested in bringing jobs home, a central tenet of his unconventional campaign.
He said he had changed his own mind to support admitting more highly skilled workers from overseas, adding matter-of-factly, “I’m changing”.
Sens. Cruz and Rubio, who have both implicitly called for the other to drop out in order to help form a coalition against Trump, are also likely to aggressively criticize the reality-television star.
“It’s time to make a change – now – a real change, by somebody who knows what he’s doing”, Trump said on MSNBC. Cruz poked fun at Trump for interrupting, telling the businessman, “Breathe, breathe, breathe”. “You’re not going to stop the corruption in Washington by supporting someone who has supported liberal Democrats for four decades, from Jimmy Carter to John Kerry to Hillary Clinton”.
“People don’t want a short-term job”, Trump said.
“When we’re done with the yoga can I answer the question”, Rubio responded.
Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump didn’t fare well in a presidential debate that saw him attempt to fend off a variety of low blows. Rubio said Trump is “trying to con people into giving him their vote”.
With Super Tuesday only 48 hours removed, the four remaining Republican candidates took the stage for yet another debate.
Trump won big on Super Tuesday earlier this week, a key contest involving votes in a dozen states.
