Trump Visits Scotland to Re-Open His Golf Course
He’s visited at least 10 properties so far, from an early stop at Trump Winery in Virginia to a surreal press conference at a golf course in Jupiter, Florida – featuring Trump-branded steaks and water – to his latest jaunt to Scotland.

“They’re angry about many, many things”.Donald Trump says the British people have “taken back their independence” with a vote to leave the European Union.
“I love to see people take their country back”, he said at a news conference at one of his golf courses in Scotland.
“I think we’re doing very well in the United States also, and it is essentially the same thing that is happening in the United States”.
Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, leader of the ruling Scottish National Party in the devolved Scottish Parliament, immediately launched a new drive for independence after Scotland voted overwhelmingly to Remain in the European Union but were outvoted by the larger population in the rest of the UK.
“I really do see a parallel between what’s happening in the United States and what’s happening here”, the presumptive GOP presidential nominee told reporters in Scotland early Friday, just a day after the controversial referendum. “Sound familiar? Democrats here in the USA and their allies in the media, and sadly some establishment Republicans, frequently call those of us who simply want secure borders, lower taxes, increased wages through economic growth, a military that is given the freedom to crush terrorists and protection of our traditional values, liberties and the Constitution, divisive, mean spirited and risky”. Most of all, perhaps, “they don’t necessarily want people pouring into their country”. Reporter: David, though trump is in Scotland for this critical time in Europe, this was a scheduled trip.
Donald Trump flew all night from NY to Scotland to talk about his renovated Turnberry golf course and, given the chance to open up on the topic, he was rhapsodic.
Mrs Clinton’s aides also highlighted Trump’s assertion on Friday that a weaker pound would make his Scottish golf course more attractive to visitors. “I ask everybody – all the European leaders – what else ideas they have”. But jobs and incomes have grown generally more slowly in other metro areas and in rural areas. “I think it could very well turn out to be a positive”. “It’s the will of the people”, Trump said. “Place is going wild over the vote”. Let’s take back our country from the corrupt career politicians and put Americans first.
Bob Johnson, 70, discussed the vote Friday at a pub in Maybole, Scotland.
Trump quickly dispensed with a protester who emerged from the audience to hold up a package of red golf balls emblazoned with Nazi swastikas.
“Donald Trump actively rooted for this outcome and he’s rooting for the economic turmoil in its wake”, said Jake Sullivan, Clinton’s senior policy adviser.
The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee says the United States’ “first task” is to ensure economic uncertainty created by the move doesn’t hurt American families. “He is concerned with himself and that’s it”.
But Jerry Spaulding, a farmer from Gilmanton, New Hampshire, who plans to vote for Mr Trump in November, said he would not be surprised if the breadth of Mr Trump’s support is broader than it may look in public opinion polls. “This vote was definitely a response to that”. “When I see the crumbling roads and bridges, or the dilapidated airports, or the factories moving overseas to Mexico, or to other countries for that matter”, he said, “I know these problems can all be fixed”.
“The world has shrunk”, Obama said.
Trump also criticized Clinton, who sided with Obama, for “misreading” the situation.
Trump added his name to the resort after purchasing it in 2014.

Several dozen protesters demonstrated outside the resort but were kept at a distance from the candidate and the course.
