He’s innocent because he says so.

On NBC’s “Meet the Press” Trump praised Putin’s strength.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump offered a forceful defense of Vladimir Putin Sunday on ABC’s This Week when asked about comments he made earlier this week on Morning Joe.

Trump added that it would be “despicable” if Putin indeed had killed journalists.

“I’m still waiting for the evidence that we have been involved in any direct killings”, Stephanopoulos said to Trump during the interview.

John Locher/AP Marco Rubio blasted Trump for his gentle approach and kind words for Russian President Vladimir Putin. “I think it’s frightful”, the mogul said.

“In all fairness to Putin, you’re saying he killed people”. I haven’t seen the name. “I don’t know that he has”, Trump argued. Have you been able to prove that?

“Well, also it’s a person who kills journalists, political opponents and invades countries”, Scarborough said. So a couple of them came out with: ‘Oh, well, you don’t want to be friends.’ Oh no, we don’t want to be friends. If he has killed reporters, that’s awful. But the mastermind of the plot has never been found. According to the Committee to Protect Journalists, at least 36 journalists have been murdered since 1993, often in direct retaliation for their work. Putin has been in office as either Prime Minister or President since 1999.

“What killing sanctioned by the USA government is like killing journalists?”

Donald Trump says, “I haven’t seen any evidence that [Vladimir Putin] killed anybody in terms of reporters”, but if he did, “I think it’s despicable”. “But this isn’t like somebody that’s stood with a gun and he’s taken the blame or he’s admitted that he’s killed”.

“I think our country does plenty of killing also, Joe, so you know”, Trump said. “But nobody’s proven that he’s killed anybody as far as I’m concerned”.

Although Putin has been accused of a lengthy list of human rights violations, Trump has maintained that Russian Federation could be a powerful partner for the United States – and one that could help the country save some money.

Trump’s rivals on Sunday criticized the developer for appearing to embrace the Russian leader’s praise.

“If Russia wants to bomb the hell out of ISIS and join us in that effort, I am absolutely fine with it”, he said. “Is that what you believe?” “It’s a mutual advantage”, Trump said during a rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Saturday afternoon. “It has not been proven that he’s killed reporters”. “It’s never been proven that he killed anybody. He has not been proven that he’s killed reporters”.
