Trump wins enough delegates to secure Republican presidential nomination

California, the most populous state in the nation, will hold its primary election June 7. CNN said that the Thursday delegate estimate for Trump was 1,237, while according to ABC America it was 1,239. Late last month, a visit to the California Republican convention set off days of protests in the area, leading to several arrests.
