Trump wins GOP presidential primary in Washington state
Facing no active opposition, Donald Trump today cruised to victory in the Washington state primary and was just one step away from clinching the Republican presidential nomination to set up a likely clash with Hillary Clinton in the November polls.

“I’ve been asked 5 million times about the emails, and I haven’t said anything”, Sanders said in a brief interview before a rally here.
However, many believe that Sanders’ success in the primary could mean that the Democratic establishment will be forced to shift to accommodate views like his even if he doesn’t secure the nomination.
Meanwhile, Jaxon Ravens, the state Democratic Party chairman, said in a statement Tuesday that a Trump presidency “will deeply harm America’s middle-class families and his disgusting comments about Muslims, Hispanics and women have already divided the country”.
There are a few things that should be clear to most everyone by now as the final state primaries draw near and Republicans and Democrats prepare for their national conventions. The billionaire businessman has 1,196 delegates.
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid said Tuesday that people should “lay off” Bernie Sanders, sending a message to restive Democrats increasingly anxious to see the party unite behind Hillary Clinton.
Almost six in 10 Americans said they either “dislike” or “hate” Democratic presidential front-runner Clinton, while 63 percent also expressed negative opinions about Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, according to the latest NBC News/SurveyMonkey Election Tracking Poll.
But then, he’s the only GOP candidate officially left in the race. Ted Cruz, were still on the ballot because they suspended their campaigns after the ballots were printed. Ben Carson was also on the ballot because he never submitted the paperwork to have his name removed.
The 2016 version of presidential candidate Clinton has conveniently forgotten what the 2008 version said when she was running against Barack Obama. At the end of the day, we hope to win a majority of the pledged delegates.
When the Democratic race ended and Clinton endorsed him in early June, his lead grew.
Overall, Clinton has 2,305 delegates and Sanders has 1,539. However, she is just 78 delegates short of clinching the Democratic nomination.
Mail-in ballots must be postmarked by 8 p.m. Tuesday night or turned in by the same time to be counted.
During the rally, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee was interrupted repeatedly by protesters, who shouted, held up banners and resisted removal by security officers.

Almost a dozen protesters held banners inside the venue that read: “Undocumented Unafraid”, “We’ve heard enough”, and “Donald Trump is a fascist”.
