Trump wins SC primary while heated battle for second goes on
But Trump is expected to do well in the South – he’s leading polls in Georgia, and southern states have been a big part of his campaign’s strategy.

Rubio also acknowledged former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who had just announced that he was suspending his presidential campaign.
The Bush campaign fired back on Saturday at Weaver’s assertions, saying that it expects to defeat Kasich and plans to campaign in Nevada, and that the OH governor has not planned any events before Tuesday’s GOP caucuses.
“We expect to do very, very well”, said Donald Trump at a rally in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on Saturday night.

Following disappointing performances in both Iowa and New Hampshire, Bush pinned his hopes on SC, a state where the Bush name has maintained some clout. The candidate that won there went on to the nomination in every Republican primary since 1980, except for the last one.
The presidency, Bush said, “is bigger than any one person”.

Meanwhile, Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, who entered the race amid high expectations, is out of money and out of ideas on how to win the nomination in a year where outsiders have trumped the conventional.
